BEVERAGE OF THE GODS
You’ll think it's divine too.
Latin American tradition refers to Yerba Maté as the “beverage of the gods,” claiming that Yerba Maté was heaven-sent. The leaves from the Maté tree were placed into a gourd, where hot water was added. The tea was consumed through a straw called a Bombilla that naturally strains the herb. Heavenly.

HISTORY OF TEA
It all began with a man, a bush, and some wind.

Some time ago, I set forth on a journey of discovery. It began deep in the South American jungle in search of the Wise Old Man, of whom I’d heard many stories. I was determined to find him, this living myth, and uncover his wisdom. On my journey, I happened upon the most unusual infusions—otherwise known as herbal teas—that alone were well worth the trip. These remarkable teas are quite restorative and quickly became a daily ritual for me. Naturally, I brought specimens back to the mainland. They are now available to all, and are called Wisdom of the Ancients®, in honor of the elusive Wise Old Man for which I searched. A tea line dedicated to healthy options, Wisdom of the Ancients includes teas from around the globe, including Yerba Maté from Paraguay, Green Tea from Argentina, Rooibos Herbal Tea from South Africa, and others.
